Nephrology Case Studies: Instructors Guides
These case studies are integrated with the second year organ systems pathophysiology
curriculum in Nephrology at UC Davis. They were created by faculty in the Division
of Nephrology, Department of Internal Medicine to illustrate pathophysiological
principles involved in the diagnosis and management of fluid-electrolyte and
acid-base disorders and renal diseases. The case studies consist of a brief
history, laboratory data, and a series of questions. Some of the renal disease
cases include image material. The instructors guides include suggested responses
to the questions and identify the key teaching points that should be reviewed.
These were authored by Frazier Stevenson, M.D. and Paul Kellerman, M.D., Division
of Nephrology.
The instructors guides will be available here following the discussion of
the cases on the dates listed below. If you attempt to link to a
case before the discussion of the case you will be greeted with a broken link
message.
